1. Introduction

Aeroneave Hosting Pty Ltd. ("Aeroneave," "we," "us," or "our") provides web hosting, domain registration, email, and related services (the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have, when you visit aeroneavehosting.com (the "Site") or use our Services.

This policy applies to visitors of our Site and to customers who purchase or use our hosting Services. It does not apply to content that our customers host on their own websites using our infrastructure — see Section 12 for details on that distinction.

2. Information we collect

We collect information in three ways: information you give us directly, information collected automatically, and information from third parties.

Information you provide

  • Account information: name, email address, mailing address, phone number, and password when you create an account.
  • Billing information: billing address and payment details, processed through our PCI-compliant payment processors. We do not store full credit card numbers on our own servers.
  • Domain registration data: contact details required by domain registrars, which may be published in public WHOIS records unless you enable WHOIS privacy.
  • Support communications: messages you send through our contact form, live chat, email, or phone support.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, timestamps, and referring URLs.
  • Device and connection data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
  • Server logs: for accounts using our hosting infrastructure, standard web server logs including request timestamps, resource requested, response codes, and IP addresses, retained primarily for security and troubleshooting.

Information from third parties

We may receive information from payment processors, domain registries, fraud-prevention services, and marketing partners, which we combine with the information described above.

3. How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • Provision, maintain, and secure hosting accounts and related Services.
  • Process payments, invoices, and renewals.
  • Respond to support requests and communicate about your account.
  • Monitor infrastructure for abuse, fraud, and security incidents.
  • Send service notices, security alerts, and — where you've opted in — product updates and promotional emails.
  • Comply with legal obligations, including domain registrar and registry requirements.
  • Improve the Site and Services through aggregated, non-identifying analysis of usage patterns.

4. Legal basis for processing

Where applicable law requires a legal basis for processing, we rely on: performance of a contract (providing the Services you've purchased), legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, and service improvement), consent (marketing communications and optional cookies), and legal obligation (tax, billing, and registrar compliance records).

5. How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers: payment processors, email delivery providers, customer support tools, and data center partners who process data on our behalf under contractual confidentiality obligations.
  • Domain registries and ICANN-accredited registrars: as required to register and maintain domain names.
  • Legal compliance: when required by law, subpoena, or valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Aeroneave, our customers, or the public.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
  • With your consent: for any other purpose disclosed to you at the time information is collected.

6. Cookies and tracking technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the Site is used. Categories include:

  • Essential cookies: required for account login and checkout; cannot be disabled.
  • Analytics cookies: help us understand aggregate traffic and usage patterns.
  • Marketing cookies: used only if you opt in, to measure the performance of our own advertising.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may prevent parts of the Site, such as the customer dashboard, from functioning correctly.

7. Data retention

We retain account and billing information for as long as your account is active, and for a limited period afterward to comply with tax, accounting, and legal obligations, typically up to seven years for financial records. Server and access logs are retained for a shorter period, typically 12 months, primarily for security investigation purposes. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

8. How we protect your information

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, restricted employee access on a need-to-know basis, and continuous monitoring of our infrastructure. No system is completely secure, and we encourage customers to use strong, unique passwords and enable two-factor authentication where available.

9. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Residents of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and applicable U.S. states (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and others) may have additional statutory rights.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will verify your identity before fulfilling a request and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

10. International data transfers

Aeroneave operates data centers in multiple regions. If you access the Services from outside the country where a given data center is located, your information may be transferred internationally. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, to protect information transferred across borders.

11. Children's privacy

Our Services are intended for individuals and businesses aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

12. Content hosted on our servers

Aeroneave provides infrastructure that our customers use to run their own websites and applications. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of websites hosted on our Services — those are controlled by the individual site owner. If you have a privacy concern about a specific website hosted on our infrastructure, please contact that website's owner directly, or reach out to our abuse team at [email protected] if you believe content violates our Terms and Conditions.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify active customers by email and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
